Our first activity is to share our notes on the two activities we made in class: reading the first chapter of the novel and watching the very first scene of the film.
In the comment box write a complete sentence adding your comparison to a character, a detail, a dialogue, this is what we will call 'collaborative writing'. At the end of the activity we'll have a summary of this comparison. Go ahead! DON'T FORGET TO SIGN YOUR NAME.

ReplyDeleteThe film beginning with the scene of a sick man in a great mansion and its sick near to his death, this man leave to his son all the fortune he have with some instructions, one of that is takes charge with care to some members of the family and especially to some sisters…
ReplyDeleteIn another view, he is discussing apparently with a woman I think is part of the family, and they discuss in a carriage pulled by horses…
Have an interesting weekend…

Our group was formed by Mariana, Carla and me. The paragraph that we read was very confused and it was necessary read it in several occasions .
ReplyDeleteWe read about Mr. (I forgot the last name) , who was a very enthusiastic man, but he died very early. He has an uncle who died only a year earlier.
Also, there was information about someone who was called John. John was responsible about the widow and daughters. They were poor, because the fortune was in other hands.
I understood a little better when I saw the first scene of the movie. Obviously there are more information in the book.
I want to read your comments to make me a better idea about the story.
Alina...:D
I remember Margaret Dashwood, although we didn't read much information about her, but she's smart, beauty and playful child! She loves her Atlas and doesn't want to lose it...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I remember Fanny Ferrars Dashwood,John's wife, she's selfish and greedy, she changes John's mind about the promise that he did to his father....
I remember the sisters.. a little more about Margaret, she´s the little one but she´s so smart. She´s a tipical little girl of 13 years old. She love the books but exactly she loves her atlas she knows everything about it.
ReplyDeleteis a story of love and inequality, also a story about the need at that time a family loses the man of the house and has to learn to survive.
I remember some characters: Mrs. Dashwood and her daughters Elinor, Marianne, Margaret;John Dashwood who promised his father (Mr. Dashwood) to take care her stepmother(Mrs. Dashwood) and her sisters, his wife Fanny doesn't accept that way.
ReplyDeleteOur team read about the family tree of the same, whe I read it was difficult for me to undestood because we didn't have reference to what they were.
